These are few designs which I would like to add to my collection. These concepts take time and money to bring into life and for that it sure helps to have a partner. If you’re interested in helping me bringing one of these designs off the drawing board, being a part of the design process, and owning the first prototype please drop me a line.
Regulator Movement Concept 1
I’ve always been interested in building a watch around a triple dial regulator movement. With the hours on a dial at 12 o'clock, the minutes on the center dial and seconds at the dial at 3 o’clock. It’s a funky throwback to doctors watches from the past.
making things more interesting is a pointer style date ring inside the minutes.
Shown here in a 255 case but the final version would likely find its way into something a bit more interesting.
Paris Toulouse GMT
What started as a napkin sketch on a train in France spent a year in development and iterations thanks to the patronage of my friend Kevin who bought the first prototype before I’d cut the first chips and helped me move the design forward from a rough doodle to a final edition. Thanks Kevin!
The baker Special
My lady friend Jessie told me that her first watch was a Tweety bird and that it was stolen from her elementary school desk on the first day of school. Which is fucked up.
So I went about righting that wrong and designed her a new watch for her birthday this year. A 36mm titanium case, orange ceramic dial with an orange enamel tweety which is subtle enough to wear in adult company but visible if you know to look.
The crown is a 6.1mm design with wave shaped splines as a small throwback to her home on the California coast.
